Re-turning Japanese

We're going back to Japan, but this time we're venturing further afield than Tokyo. This is probably going to be our last visit for years so we're making it count!

Destinations include:
  • Hakone – a mountainous town famous for its hot springs and views
  • Nagoya – Japan’s 4th-largest city
  • Suzuka - theme park and Japanese Grand Prix F1 circuit
  • Osaka – 3rd largest city, modern port known as “The Nation’s Kitchen”
  • Nara – picturesque city famous for its free-roaming deer
  • Kyoto – ancient Japanese capital with traditional culture
  • Yokohama – Japan’s 2nd largest city
  • Tokyo - yup, Japan's largest city!
We're starting off with one night in Tokyo and then using our rail passes to explore the country, with lots of fun stuff and delicious food along the way. I'll leave the rest as a surprise.

Our flight is at 11.30am tomorrow (Wednesday) from Edinburgh via Paris, lasting 16ish hours including stopovers.

I'm still not packed (at all) so should probably get onto that!

See you soon.

George
